The Archival 424 ///
where creativity meets introspection
-
The Archival is a digital gallery, a mirror of my mind—a reflection of my thoughts, experiences, aspirations, creative expression and life as it unfolds. From brewing specialty coffee as a home barista to cycling through the streets, to exploring my heritage as Jamaican and Trinidad descendant, crafting delicious juice and mocktails and advocating for wellness through our family juice business Va Pour Beverages, and exploring soundscapes and collaborating with my childhood friend in our music production duo, The Radicals. Motivated by my own experience, I am compelled to share perspectives on daily life to musings on topics close to my heart and sharing tools and resources that fuel my passions and expertise. Join me as we explore the intersections of creativity, technology, and personal growth, all while navigating the everyday challenges and joys of life.

I'm William O'Brien, a dedicated Field Services Director in the senior living IT industry by day, and a passionate home barista, cyclist, juice entrepreneur, and music producer by night.

The inspiration for The Archival 424 came from a desire to create a space where I could document my life experiences, creative endeavors, personal growth, connect with others, share insights, and offer resources that could empower.

The name “The Archival 424” carries deep personal significance. "The Archival" signifies the blog's role as a space to preserve and showcase my life experiences, thoughts, and creative journeys, much like an archive. The “424” not only represents my birthday, April 24th, a day symbolic of personal renewal and reflection, but also marks significant moments for the blog itself: I purchased the domain on April 23, 2024, and announced the launch on social media on April 24, 2024, embedding the essence of new beginnings into the very fabric of this project.
